Caja Chica is a collection of contemporary pocket-sized essays created to introduce young readers to topics surrounding identity, feminism, mortality, human rights, and social change through accessible language and culturally relevant themes.
I designed the collection with a bold and highly graphic editorial system intended to make complex subjects feel approachable and visually engaging for younger audiences. Vibrant color palettes, expressive typography, and modular layouts create a contemporary reading experience that gives each title its own personality while maintaining a cohesive visual identity across the series.
